I would like to congratulate Mr. Rod Rice President of Queensland Veterans Cricket for taking the initiative of organizing this Inaugural Over 60 World Cup in Brisbane from 2nd to 15th September 2022.

We are organizing Seniors (Over 40) Cricket in Pakistan since 1998 when Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association was formed. We started playing Veterans (Over 50) Cricket since 2007-2008. We started playing Super Veterans (Over 60) Cricket since last 10 years and this type of Cricket is only confined to Karachi with only 4 Active Over 60 clubs. We toured England in 2019 with our Over 60 Team and played one match each against England and Australia besides playing 3 matches against 3 Counties. We have good players in our World Cup Team but our main issue is the fitness of our players. In Pakistan we only play 20 overs matches in Over 60 Cricket as compared to playing 45 over Matches in the Over 60 World Cup. I hope that this Inaugural Over 60 World Cup will be a great Success and all matches will be played in a very cordial environment.
